Course BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) PROVIDER COURSE
Course Description & Prerequisites

This Basic Life Support (BLS) course is for Healthcare Providers only whose credentials have expired or who have never been credentialed.

With the knowledge and skills you learn in this course you can save a life. You will learn the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. You will learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). You will learn how to relieve choking (foreign-body airway obstruction). The skills you learn in this course will enable you to recognize emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest and how to respond to them.

Course BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) RENEWAL COURSE
Course Description & Prerequisites

This Basic Life Support (BLS) course is for Healthcare Providers only for those who are renewing their credentials. You must show proof of current certification on day of the course.

With the knowledge and skills you learn in this course you can save a life. You will learn the skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for victims of all ages. Course EMERGENCY NURSING PEDIATRIC COURSE (ENPC)
Course Description & Prerequisites

ENPC was developed by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) and is designed to provide core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the pediatric patient. This content is presented through lectures and psychomotor skill stations.

The ENPC Provider is a two-day course. Day one consists of lectures in the morning and teaching psychomotor skill stations in the afternoon. Day two consists of lectures in the morning and testing in the afternoon.

After completion of the multiple choice examination and psychomotor skill station testing, participants will receive a CECH certificate verifying completion. Expiration of verification occurs in four years.

Registered nurses are the only healthcare providers eligible for ENPC verification. Other healthcare providers are welcome to audit the lecture and psychomotor skill station teaching portions of the course.

Course NEONATAL RESUSCITATION PROGRAM (NRP) CLASSES
Course Description & Prerequisites

Neonatal life support course (BLS for the delivery scene) is geared toward any healthcare provider expected to assist with the birthing process or care of an infant immediately postnatal.  Providers are granted a two-year certification.  Renewals can easily be maintained in about two hours, through a written test and practicum code scenario at any of the following date & times.  Provider status may be attained at a renewal, with self preparation.  All those new to healthcare are encouraged to take the full-provider class on 8/25/2010.

Course PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS) NEW PROVIDER COURSE
Course Description & Prerequisites

- Vascular Access: Intravenous (IV) and Intraosseous (IO)

3) Demonstrate cognitive skills necessary for resuscitating and stabilizing an infant or child in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest.
